One move down one to go

We officially sold our town house on Wednesday. And luckily the house suffered no rain damage (nor did the house we have under contract or the house we are living in currently).

We have moved in with Bill and Linda (Chris' parents) who have kindly allowed us to stay here.

Caleb is growing along, and it looks like we are on track for closing on our house some time in October.

Moving has commenced

The Pod was delivered yesterday. Chris spent the weekend spackling every hole in the walls from pictures and such, and packing boxes. Today some guys came over and helped him get started on loading the pod. I thought they were only going to load the big stuff from upstairs and the basement, but I was a little wrong. It looks like this next week will not be so comfortable after all.

Notice the coaches are gone.

And so is the TV

Max doesn't seem to know what to think. He keeps putting his tennis ball in the Pod. I guess he wants to make sure his stuff gets packed also.

Here is my man being all kinds of handy. Can you see he is trying to make space for all of our stuff to fit into the Pod? He has been focused these last two days about getting our stuff packed.

So this means that we are definately on schedcule for moving in with Bill and Linda (Chris' parents) in one week. We made an offer on a house which has been verbally accepted but not in writing so far. So we may be closing on a house for ourselves at the end of October (I know great timing and all).

And here is a picture of my growing belly, now at 34 weeks.

33 week belly

Hello all. So I finally took a picture of the belly, for those that are curious. I definitely look pregnant.

Here is a me straight on, cause I think you can tell I'm pregnant now from straight on.

And here I am from the side (chris was making me laugh - please ignore the hair, it's a holiday)

So an update on the house. We are closing on the sale of our current town house on September 23. Which leaves us two weekends to pack up the whole house and either put it in storage or in a moving truck. I think we are going to hire movers because Chris can't move everything himself, and I'm not much help at all. We have been looking at houses every week and this week was the first time we found anything that we liked the layout, location and price. So we may make an offer. We'll see.

So some people have been saying that maybe Baby Mardis will come early. Or that the belly looks pretty low. These things are not okay to say to me. I'm okay with moving and I'm okay with where ever we end up, but the idea of the baby coming before we have moved out of this house and gotten settled somewhere, freaks me out and has made me cry on a few occasions. So please don't say anything to me about his birth date being around the corner or it coming very soon. I'm just not there yet.
